COLD LASER 650 nm – 810 nm

PRICE 239 CHF

The Cold Laser is a portable, self-contained Class 3R laser that can be worn directly on the skin via a strap. It comprises 33 square 650nm lasers and three 808nm lasers for complementary deep penetration. It therefore combines the best of these two fundamental radiation frequencies used for this type of therapy. The device operates independently with a rechargeable battery.

Scope of application:

The average daily session lasts 15 minutes (up to 3 times a day). The device heats up during use. This is not heat generated by the laser light on the body, but rather the device itself heating up as a result of its operation. This does not pose any danger. Three laser diodes in the center of the device (see photo) operate in the non-visible spectrum of 808nm. This is not a malfunction of the device, but simply a non-visible feature. Remember to remove the protective film from the diodes upon receipt.

Body pains: neck pain, back pain, kidney pain, arthritis, muscle pain, rheumatoid arthritis, knee pain, fibromyalgia, tendinitis, redness, swelling, morning stiffness, cervical and lumbar pain.

Therapeutic principle:

Cold lasers are used in biology. They do not damage tissue but trigger a series of physiological and biochemical changes, such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, desensitizing, and functional restoration reactions. They primarily act on a mitochondrial protein (cytochrome c oxidase) to increase ATP and reduce oxidative stress. A cascade of downstream mitochondrial and intracellular effects leads to improved tissue repair and reduced inflammation.

Usage recommendations:

Never look directly at the laser light as this could have serious consequences for your eye.

The device consumes energy and heats up. A 20 to 30 minute break between sessions is recommended.

Laser treatment is not recommended for pregnant women. As a precaution, individuals with serious bleeding disorders or who have experienced a cerebral hemorrhage within the past three months should avoid using the laser, as blood thinning is often observed during treatment. If this occurs, the individual should monitor and adjust their medical treatment accordingly. Except for treatment of skin that has undergone radiotherapy, direct exposure to cancerous lesions is discouraged due to a lack of understanding of the potential consequences.

In some people, an increased heart rate and a need to drink may be observed; this is normal because microcirculation is accelerating. In this case, the duration of use of the device can be reduced.
